The ice bridges on Lake Winnebago were removed on Friday. As of Friday, Lake Winnebago’s ice sheet was deteriorating, and new cracks were forming near the shore lines. Rain is expected this weekend, and this should end the ice fishing season on the main lake.
The annual walleye run is currently under way on the Fox river in De Pere, WI. In addition, Eureka Dam, on the lower Fox River has seen some walleyes moving into the area. The Winneconne Bridge has been slow.
