catchrele-1284081437-23897Lake Winnebago is one of the premier and most diverse fishing locations in North America.  The Winnebago system is host to over 100 species of fish, many which grow into trophy class.  The Winnebago Master Angler program is to show recognition of an angler, which has exceeded the minimum standards of trophy fish set forth in this program.

Once the application for a qualified fish has been received, it will be judge to be credible by the myfishingpartner.com staff and a certificate will be awarded to the angler, honoring their accomplishments.  A special notation will be placed on the certificate if the fish was a catch-and-release fish.
A Grand Master designation will be granted to an individual who obtains 5 different species of master angler awards within one calendar year.

All fish must be caught on the Winnebago system, which includes the Lower Fox River, Wolf River, Lake Poygan, Lake Winneconne, Lake Buttes des Mortes or Lake Winnebago.   Other bodies of water will not qualify for this award.  Eligible fish may be caught from shore or boat.  Electronic registration of the fish must occur within 60 days of the actual catch date, and an electronic photo (JPEG format) must be included.  The electronic photos may be used on the myfishingpartner.com website, and become the property of My Fishing Partner LLC.
