Berkley has introduced a new twist to the immensely popular Flicker Shad baits. Flicker Shad “Pro Series” crank baits add a whole new color scheme to the lineup.
There are two version of the Flicker Shad Pros: Slick and Flashy. The slick models have a holographic type finish using an oil slick look technology; while the flashy models are translucent, with a foil like accent, allowing for higher reflectivity in the water. Most baits are available in sizes 4,5,6 and 7CM.
The previous series of Flicker Shads gained popularity due to their high hook up rates with the Mustad hooks, and the fact they are “in-tune” right out of the package. Typically the Flicker Shads have running depths up to 15 feet deep.
In June, the new Flicker Minnows are slated to hit the market. These prototype stick baits are already cashing checks in the pro tournament circuits, so it is sure to be a huge hit once released.
