No Boat Traffic Through the Menasha Lock – 6/27/2014
The upper hinge on one of the downstream lock doors at Menasha failed today. The gate is upright and secured against falling. The hinge failed without warning when the door was almost completely open. Contractors have been contacted and will meet Monday morning to discuss repairs. There will be no boat traffic through the Menasha Lock until repairs can be safely made. Check back for updates.
